Security

Proposers Day (October 27, 2026) and One-on-One meetings (October 28, 2026) will be classified TOP SECRET and will require security clearance transmittal to DARPA. Clearances must be received no later than 4:00 pm EDT on September 29, 2026.

Visit Process Prior to arrival, the visitor's clearance/visit request must be on file. Send clearance/visit requests to the Special Security Office via fax to: (703) 812-1995 (secure) (703) 528-3655 (unclassified) Alternatively, the requesting SSO may send a: message with visit information to SSO DARPA via Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS) visit request via the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) using SMO Code: DDAAUS4 for TOP SECRET or SMO Code: DDAAUS2. No Cell Phones, Electronics, or Photography

No cell phones, electronic devices, recording, or photography will be permitted during the Proposers Day events at DARPA. Storage is space available for small electronics.

Government-Issued Photo ID Required Upon Check-In

Upon entry to in-person events held at the DARPA Conference Center, all attendees will be required to present Government-issued photo identification that is compliant with the REAL ID Act of 2005, and an acceptable proof of U.S. citizenship. Examples may include:

• State-issued driver's license, or,
• U.S. passport, or,
• Copy of birth certificate.

NOTE: Before individuals transmit Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or other sensitive data to DARPA, it is recommended that they apply appropriate physical, administrative, and technical protocols to safeguard their privacy. DARPA will secure all received PII and sensitive personal data in a controlled environment and protect it from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
